Drax Hall: Everton Marsh double strike sent St. Ann’s Volvo into the national primer league play off when they defeated St. Thomas’ York two goals to nil at Drax Hall Wednesday afternoon.

Buff Bay: York took another step further to moving to the national primer league when they came from behind and shut out former primer league campaigners St. George’s at Lynch Park Sunday afternoon 6-5 in sudden death penalties after playing to a 1-1 draw at the end of full and extra time in their eastern confederation semi-final game.

FORMER Premier League outfit St George's SC edged defending champions Eagle Strikers, 3-2, in an epic encouner at Carder Park on Sunday to land the Western Union Major League title.  Goalkeeper Randal Huie (99th, 119th, penalties) and Kemar Miller (91st) scored for the victors, while Rennis Allen (93rd and 104th) hit a brace for Eagle Strikers.

Former youth footballer Ovan Samuda dies

Former Jamaica Under-17 footballer, Ovan Samuda, is dead. He was 23 years old.  Samuda died Saturday while undergoing treatment for brain cancer at the Princess Margaret Hospital in St Thomas.
