Passley Gardens: The College of Agriculture, Science and Education is to get involved in DNA (Deoxyribonucleic acid) research as they have been given a PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) machine from the Coconut Industry Board and board member Dr. Anthony Myrie.

Dr. Mary Ann McDonald-Nichols was born in Catadupa, St. James. A pre-trained Agricultural Science teacher she has become of the most outstanding civil servants and Educators. Dr. Nichols is trained in many expanses of public service, and has done over 35yrs in the educational sector. In that time span she has served as Regional Director within the Ministry of Education, regions two and six respectively.
