Wanted: Education Field Officer

The Jamaican Foundation for Lifelong Learning has advertised for the position of Field Officer:

Description:

  • Kingston & St. Andrew, Westmoreland
  • Recruiting learners
  • Conducting training sessions
  • Evaluating training centres and marketing the programme offerings of the Foundation.
  • Audits training facilities to ensure compliance with the established procedures.
  • Prepares and delivers lessons utilizing the appropriate JFLL methodology.
  • Prepares and delivers presentations on the programme offerings of the Foundation
  • Reviews diagnostic assessment result and place learners in JFLL/HISEP programmes according to established standards.
  • Recruits learners for the various programmes sponsored by the organization.
  • Establishes literacy and lifelong learning classes.
  • Maintains database of stu
  • Recruiting ldents’ records.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Education, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Social Services or Social Work or equivalent qualification.
  • Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree would be at a distinct advantage.
  • Three years work experience preferably in an educational environment.
  • Sound knowledge of current training techniques.
  • Excellent counselling and communication skills (oral and written).
