Extensive on-line teaching materials give students a thorough understanding of sustainability issues and preventive environmental strategies. The course material is entirely in English and was developed in close cooperation with scholars at Lund University, Sweden. All materials are up to date and in line with recent scientific findings.

The teaching material gives students a better understanding of sustainability issues for environmental strategies. Students can also put into practice their knowledge by starting sustainable projects in their local communities.

The Internet is used to create virtual classrooms, allowing interaction from all over the world between students and teachers. Students can share their knowledge, identify challenges and find different perspectives and solutions.

YMP students will report every semester on the results and progress of their projects in a local community. This project work shows how knowledge and capacity building can help finding solutions for a sustainable future.
