Environmentally we have failed

Port Antonio: Environmentalist Diana McCaulay declared that as a nation we have failed environmentally as “Jamaica environmental work has collapsed”. She was speaking at PEPA (Portland environmental protection association) meeting at the Ole Marina, Port Antonio Saturday evening.

CENTRE FOR INTERNATIONAL POSTGRADUATE STUDIES OF ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT (CIPSEM) courses on environmental management are all conducted in English. The main course on integrated environmental management of 6 month duration covers a broad range of environmental relevant aspects. Besides this course there are Short Courses of about 2 to 4 weeks duration on specific topics (e.g. water management, waste management, etc.) of special concern for developing and emerging countries.

Blue Lagoon Untouchable?

Blue Lagoon Gets Long Awaited Protection

Minister of Youth, Sports and Culture, Olivia 'Babsy' Grange, recently signed a preservation notice to protect the Blue Lagoon and surrounding areas from any development that may affect the integrity of the beautiful natural heritage and its surrounding waters.
